A set of poems written between the sudden death of my Mother in October 2013 and the end of 2016. The death of Jean Mitchell was a shock for the whole family and was distressing to me in a multitude of ways. Even now, nine years later, I still hear the echoes of her death in my work. 

This collection is the second of the 'Sleeping' thread and the first, 'Silent as Sleeping' is also available as a paperback or as a digital download from the Amazon Kindle store.

Once again, I've added the cover you get in the Kindle store and which will grace the cover of any second edition. It's another by Tony Barnes, taken from a photograph of Mum when she was at my home in Essex.
