For the third year running, as a poet and fiction writer, and with Keith as lyricist and singer within 'Mitchell&Melhuish', we entered the above competition with a variety of submissions across all 5 categories. These are; Poetry, Scriptwriting, Short Story, Songwriting - Lyrics, and Songwriting - Performed Song.
I am so pleased to announce that, although neither of my short stories were shortlisted (over 40 were), we have been shortlisted in each of the other four categories!
My fifth ever script has made it among only 9 other scripts, one of my song lyrics is also among 3 other lyrics, one of my poems is among more than 35 other poems and all THREE of our submitted performed songs made it into the 5 on the list!
The winners will be announced in due course and should this amazing journey becomes even more fantastic, I'll update this with more news soon!
