So, November has but a few scant hours left before it blends into December, currently steaming fast towards us like an iceberg in the water...
I am almost at the end of my year-long project to mark each month in the year with a poetry 'chapter,' Every month has seen different world and personal situations and events - some good and some bad - and I have responded to them in the most honesy way I know how; by writing poetry. This new collection is entitled 'Reflections in the Mirror' and I aim to complete it and have it printed and ready in the first couple of weeks of January 2017 (this might be too ambitious but if you don't try you won't know if you can do it). This year has seen me undergo one main life-changing event - I retired after just under 29 years in my organisation. As a result, a lot of stress and a damaging situation has been resolved and I hope that the future I can now see before me has more writing and creativity within it! I owe a lot to a few people - Mick N especially (thanks buddy). Anyway, here's to the Christmas period which is almost upon us, I hope the holiday season brings us all closer together with those we love and that it is a fun time for all! Stay safe, stay well and keep reading!
